About Us
The purpose of the Apollo Project is to increase the employability and thus reduce the economic inactivity rates of residents within Triax and other Neighbourhood Renewal areas in Derry.
Project Activity
In September 2009, Apollo recruited 30 people to participate in an innovative one-year training programme to increase essential skills and confidence of groups experiencing significant employment gaps.
Arts in the Community
Arts in the Community is a ten week course which is theory based. The learning centres on participant understanding of the key aims of community arts work, practice and methods.
Dove Gardens
The redevelopment of Dove Gardens stands both as a tribute to the determination and resolve of the local community and as an example of the real benefits that can be delivered through genuine community – statutory partnership.
